Procurement Capacity Development

large (2) (427x640) (214x320).jpg

A freelance consultant since April 2010, I work with governments and their development partners in all areas relating to procurement and capacity development. This includes planning and conducting procurement assessments, designing and implementing capacity development initiatives, preparing and facilitating courses and workshops, conducting research and developing tools and approaches.

For more than 20 years I worked for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in a variety of roles relating to procurement and human resources. I was involved in establishing the UN Procurement Capacity Development Centre (UNPCDC) which I led for two years. I played an active role in the OECD-DAC Procurement Task Force (and its predecessors the Joint Venture and the Roundtable) since its inception. I have experience in working in all regions of the world.
